21.12.2017: My Feelings while reading the book

Write about you feel why you are reading a section, the book or play.

When I started the book, I was happy that there’s an engaged couple and that they live a life on high standards. My feelings totally changed when the inspector told about the tragic suicide of the young women. With each confession my body went colder and colder when I read it. It felt very awkward when inspector Goole cold hearted asked the questions, and for me it was very suspicious that he already knew what they did and in which sequence. Slowly my sad feelings turned in to compassion for Eva and what she had been gone through, before she killed herself. As soon as the inspector left, and the peoples called the police, to ask about inspector Goole, I was really surprised about the answers. But when the telephone rang again, I already thought about the possible twist of the book, and this turned my whole but cold. The end lefted me with a big question mark.

21.12.2107: Things professional writers look for in real life out of AIC

Write about something in the text in terms of those qualities that professional writers look for in real life: conflict, contrast, contradiction, and characterization.

The author uses a dramatic suicide of a young women as main tag, the family Birling and mister Croft symbolise the wealth strata of the English society, each one did something, everyone did, at least once in his life. On my opinion, the author will make us see what could happen if we are mean to other peoples, may it be jealousy, stinginess, arrogance or immaturity. He also shows us the Situations and circumstances which the woman from the 19th and 20th century had to deal with. This story is kind of timeless, cause this class society still exists in the head and hearts of many peoples. He also takes some of the stereotypes of each gender, and plant them in the roles in his play; Mister Croft: who ends up, flirting with another women/ Sheila: who got jealous at Eva Smith in Millwards.

7.12.2017: main message of the Author AIC

Main message of the author
I think the author tries to tell us, that one little thing can’t critically hurt a person, but if many people hurt on person, it could break the person apart. The inspector acts as the judge of the family Birling and mister Croft, he knows everything about the things they’ve done to the girl and even in the End, when it turns out that they got tricked, there’s still truth in his words and he broke every self-confidence they had, before the real inspector arrives.
The whole book is written as a theatre script, that makes u feel more close to the scene and with this form the author can easier show the emotions of the characters and make you feel the Emotions he would.
For me it is a wonderful book, and the author has done a good job in making the readers feel the guilty of mister Croft and the family Birling, after each confession you fell more sorry for the young women.
