In your own words what has happened in the book?

The book: An Inspector Calls starts in 1912, in a dinning room. The whole first Act plays in the house of a prosperous manufacteur and his Family. There are a few peoples, Gerald Croft, he's the future husband of Sheila Birling, she is the daughter of ArthurBirling, the prosperous manufacteur and his wife Sybil Birling, they also have a son named Eric, Edna is the parlour-maid and belongs to the Family Birling. In the middle of the first Act the Inspector arrives after they took their first galsses of port. The Inspector tells them about the horrifying suicide of a Young Women, she swallowed a lot of strong disinfectant, that burned her inside out. He confronts Mister Birling and his daughter Sheila,with Things they did, and how These Things led to the sad end of life for this women. Mister Birling fired her after a strike. Sheila was jealousof the Young women, cause she were much better looking than her.
